One: Wisdom calls to us, raising her voice on the heights, beside the way.
At the crossroads of our town she takes her stand;
ALL: At the entrance of our church she cries out to us and to all who live.
One: At the beginning, when there were no depths, before the mountains had been shaped, before the hills or earth or fields, Wisdom was brought forth.
ALL: She rejoiced in all creation. She delighted at our birth!
One: Now we welcome the Spirit through our doors, into our hearts to create with us, to comfort us, to inspire us.
ALL: Breathe Pentecost’s fire on us now, Holy One! Come, Spirit, come!

Leader: For all forgotten by us, but dear to you;
People: Hear us, O God.
Leader: O compassionate God, hear our prayers, answer them according to your will, and make us channels of infinite grace; through Jesus Christ we pray.
All: Amen.

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Mother-Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kindom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kindom, and the power, and the glory, forever.
Amen.
