We Are...

“a faithful congregation doing social justice following Jesus Christ.”

We are a social action, social justice faith community, open and affirming, welcoming and supportive of all people. We believe taking the Bible seriously means it cannot always be taken literally. We follow the teachings of Jesus. We worship God. We seek to be faithful to the way of Jesus Christ - alleviating suffering, oppression and injustice, feeding hungry people and housing families that have been displaced. We seek Jesus' way of peace.

We know that God's love embraces all persons equally, no matter their age, gender, race, life status, beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.

We believe that faith is a matter of mind as well as heart.

If you are searching for a way and a place of deepening spiritual experience and practice, come in and make yourself at home.

No matter who you are, where you are on life's journey, or who you love, we welcome you into the full life and ministry of this church!

We Do...

Currently our initiatives are to faithfully love Children, Neighbor, and Creation. Sometimes that means collecting school supplies to serve school children in our area as well as reminding local schools of the need to be safe for students of all sexual orientations and gender expressions. Sometimes loving our neighbor means standing up with people living in poverty and giving voice to these concerns by calling elected leaders to financial, judicial, and voting rights accountability. Sometimes loving creation means educating children and adults about climate change, or planting a perennial garden, or an herb garden that helps with community meals for many displaced people in our community. You can find a place to serve others here. On a monthly basis we serve 2 meals to displaced people in our community. (Unfortunately, our meals are suspended until vaccination rates are better in our area).

Come join us in loving God, Children, Neighbor, and Creation!
